Detailed Description: STOP REP shows an error on RESET. If the MASTER is commanded to RESET (from the state STOP ), it closes the STOP REP circuit. Each controller carries out a HW Reset, then sets up the communication. The MASTER checks whether current flows through the STOP REP circuit after a RESET. If there is none, this error message is displayed.
Reason for error: - Defective STOP circuit on D30 MASTER. RESET could not be performed. - Watchdog on MASTER is failed. Missing jumper or fatal FW error. - STOP circuit is reopened by a controller in RESET, either because it cannot set up communication or because its watchdog failed. - Voltage is unstable or low. Increased current consumption during the RESET caused the watchdog of the corresponding controller to fail (usually KEY2). - The Stop-Rep-Loop can not be closed because of a broken cable or connection.
What to do? Priority 1: Check jumper X24 (jumper must be installed between 1-2), RESET and try again. Priority 2: If the error occurs approx. 1.5sec after RESET ( Watchdog time after HW Reset ) bypass the STOP REP lines at the corresponding connectors on the D30 MASTER board, immediately after the RESET. ( Beginning with D30.X10 pins 1 and 2 will seperate the STOP REP of the rotating part of the gantry from the stationary part). The seperated function controllers can then no longer open the STOP REP circuit and the MASTER will report the controller responsible for the missing communication ( e.g. EM0903, if XRS doesn't answer ). The source of the error has then been traced down. Priority 3: Check that the STOP REP wires are not broken. If the CYCLE LED of each individual controller stops flashing for approximately 1 second after RESET, the STOP REP wires are ok. Priority 4: Measure the voltage at the controllers. It should be significantly higher than 8 V at the input. If it is too low, the primary side of the PDS should be set to a lower voltage. Priority 5: Replace MASTER D30 if controllers did not perform the RESET. Priority 6: Replace FW on MASTER D30 and inform.
